Battery Reports - Quick Start Guide 📖

Let's get you up and running with Lyteflo Battery Reports!

Lyteflo makes it easy to get a report on the battery health of Electric Vehicles.

Follow the steps below and you'll have your first Battery Report in minutes!

  1. Log into the Lyteflo Portal. You can get help logging in here

  2. Confirm whether your vehicle is supported. You can find a list of vehicles supported for Battery Reports here

  3. Find the OBD-II diagnostic port in the vehicle:

Non-Tesla Vehicle: Most vehicle OBD-II ports are located in the driver's footwell area, beneath the dash and to the left of the steering column.

Tesla Vehicle: Testing a Tesla battery follows a different process. You can get help connecting your Lyteflo Device to a Tesla here.

  4. Connect the Lyteflo Device. Plug the device into the OBD-II port. The vehicle will provide power to the device and it will connect via built-in cellular or Wi-Fi.

  5. Open the 'Live Devices' area at the bottom of your screen to see if your device is connected to the network. Hit 'Start Scan' (Note: If 'Start Scan' is not pressed, the scan will begin automatically after 30 seconds).  After the scan is complete, you can access the report here or in the Reports section.

  6. Check the Battery Portal and pull up the Reports page. Your Battery Report will appear at the top of the list within 2 minutes.

  7. Disconnect the Lyteflo Device. Once your report appears in the Battery Portal, you're good to unplug the device. That's it!
